Bobby Shou Wood (born November 15, 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is an American professional soccerplayer who currently plays for German 2. Bundesliga club, TSV 1860 München.
Biography
Wood began his youth career in 1999 with Powder Edge SC where located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He moved to California in 2004 to play with Irvine Strikers, but eventually relocated to Germany in July 2007 to joinTSV 1860 Munchen.[1]
TSV 1860 München
On January 29, 2011, Wood made his professional debut coming on in the 82nd minute as a substitute during a 2. Bundesliga match against MSV Duisburg.[2]
Wood made his first career start for TSV 1860 München on October 14, 2011 against F.C. Hansa Rostock.[3] On November 30, 2012, against VfR Aalen, Wood scored his first professional goal to secure a 1–1 draw for 1860 Munich.[4]
In December 2012, Wood signed his first professional contract, extending his stay with 1860 through the 2016 season.[5]
International Career
In May 2013, Wood was named to a preliminary 35-man roster for the 2013 Gold Cup.[6] Wood made his senior international debut in a friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 14, 2013
