Carlos Andrés Muñoz Rojas (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkarloθ muˈŋoθ ˈřoxas], born 21 April 1989) is aChilean footballer that currently plays for Primera División club Colo-Colo in Chile and his national team. He primarily plays as a forward, even when he joined Wanderers youth ranks at five. In 2006, Muñoz was promoted to first–team by the coach Héctor Godoy with 17 years and 42 days, scoring 31 goals in 98 apps, making to cross–town rival Everton his 1st professional goal. Training at amateur side Unión Quilpué in 2009, after two bad seasons, César Vaccia called him to U22 national team for play 2010 Toulon Tournament in France, being one of the goalscorers of the contest with two goals under of Nicki Billie Nielsen (5 goals). The same year, he was the goalscorer of Valparaíso based–team with seventeen goals in the Primera A tournament, only surpassed by Mauro Olivi (18) and Milovan Mirosević (19). In 2011, he received his first call–up to national team, and in June, he signed with Colo-Colo for US$1.5 million.
